Regional Governments Urged Faster Transfer-to-Region Disbursements
The Association of Indonesian Regency Governments (APKASI) urged the government to accelerate the disbursement of Transfer to Regions (TKD) and outstanding Revenue Sharing Funds (DBH), citing mounting fiscal pressure on regional governments. Bandung Regency reported its TKD allocation declined to approximately IDR 2.6 tn from IDR 3.6 tn, resulting in budget constraints to fund PPPK salaries and employee performance allowances. Regional leaders also called for faster DBH disbursements and highlighted that the implementation of the Regional Financial Relations Law (UU HKPD) has limited local governments' flexibility to increase regional revenue.
