Indonesia's Manufacturing PMI Returned to Expansion at 50.2 in Jul-26

Indonesia's S&P Global Manufacturing PMI rose to 50.2 in Jul-26 from 46.9 in Jun-26, marking its highest level since Feb-26 and returning to expansion territory. Output increased after four consecutive months of contraction, while new orders stabilized following June's sharp decline. Although export orders contracted for a fifth straight month, firms increased hiring for the first time in five months as backlogs reached their highest level since Nov-25. Meanwhile, input cost inflation eased to a four-month low, while business confidence improved to its strongest level since Jan-26, supported by expectations of stronger sales and easing cost pressures. Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Introduced New “P” Special Notation for Free Float Non-Compliance

IDX introduced a new “P” special notation for listed companies that fail to meet the minimum free float requirement, effective 03 Aug-26 under a new circular. The notation aims to improve investor transparency by identifying issuers that do not comply with public shareholding requirements and will be removed once compliance is restored. For Main Board and Development Board issuers, implementation begins on 30 Apr-27, while Acceleration Board issuers will be subject to the rule starting 30 Nov-26. IDX emphasized that the notation is an informational indicator rather than a regulatory sanction. (CNBC Indonesia)
